I specialize in consecutive interpreting, which means you deliver a few phrases and then pause whilst I repeat what has just been said in the target language. Depending on your specific needs, I can translate for a whole group or an individual (the so-called whispering) or do a two-way translation between two interlocutors.

Unlike simultaneous or conference interpreting, consecutive interpreting does not require any specialist equipment; however, there will undoubtedly be certain technical terms, acronyms, and abbreviations that are unfamiliar to me.

A short briefing on such issues, drafts of speeches, or just the topic of the assignment provided ahead of time will make our collaboration far more satisfactory for all involved. Some background information about the company and its products is also very welcome and helpful — most of the time a website link is more than sufficient.
